Foundations of Tung’s Acupuncture

  • City Acupuncture 139 Fulton Street New York, NY, 10038 United States (map)

Tung’s acupuncture is a classical lineage of medicine best known for its extensive use of extra points not found in conventional acupuncture. Even more important however is the deep theory that underlies the practice, a theory rich in understanding the intricate relationships between the Yin-Yang, the Five Phases, Channels and the Zang Fu. While most courses on Tung’s system are given as short “crash courses,” this class will be structured over a series of 10 weeks, allowing participants to fully absorb the material in a way that is rarely allowed. Class size will also be limited to provide opportunity for hand-on point location and needling practice when necessary. Join us for this exciting look at a very clinically effective approach to acupuncture.
